In this episode, Elaine is very excited about her new boyfriend, but she causes their break-up because he doesn’t use exclamation points in phone messages for her. Jerry and George think that Jerry and Elaine’s accountant is a drug addict because he sniffs a lot. Jerry tells Kramer and Newman about this encounter with the accountant (they also have money invested with him) and they want to create a sting operation to prove it. Jerry tries to convince Newman that “glide” dental floss is better than regular dental floss. Kramer takes a picture of Jerry’s accountant in a restroom stall during his sting operation. George successfully interviews for a job as a bra salesman, gets the job and is fired from the job because, while waiting for an elevator after the interview, he makes advances to a woman, who happens to be the CEO of the bra company.
Funniest scene:
George is eating dinner with his parents in the kitchen of their home. George’s father, Mr. Costanza, is agitated because George is pouring so much ketchup on his food. George states that he bought the ketchup so that he could use as much as wanted. Mr. Costanza talked to his friend, a bra salesman, today. The company is hiring and Mr. Costanza arranged for an interview with salesman’s boss. George becomes upset when his father tells him that the interview is on Friday at 2 o’clock. He shouts and whines to his father that that ruins his whole afternoon and he wanted to shop for sneakers then. His father yells that George can look for sneakers the next day. His parents feel that he doesn’t know anything about bras, and his father says that George should try to learn something about them so that he can talk intelligently at the interview. He wants George to look at a few bras and then asks Mrs. Costanza to get one of her bras. Initially, she opposes the idea, but then leaves the kitchen to get one. Within seconds Mr. Costanza grows very impatient and wonders aloud why it is taking her so long to get a bra. He says that if you were to ask him to get a pair of underwear, he’s back in 2 seconds. He yells to her from the kitchen. While she is away from the table Mr. Costanza performs some personal dental hygiene with a toothpick and gives George some background on bra sizes. George states that he knows how they are sized, but his father, still cleaning his teeth, continues, and pedantically states the sizes for him. Mrs. Constanza returns to the kitchen with a bra and Mr. Constanza grabs it from her and continues with his instruction by explaining the construction of the bra by telling George that there are cups in the front and 2 loops in the back. George has grown so weary of all this, he grabs the bra from his father and throws it on the table, and his mother screams that he got ketchup on the bra. George grabs his dinner plate and walks out of the kitchen.
